Tom Kerridge to support Grande Cuisine at Hotelympia 2014
Tom Kerridge, 2 Star Michelin Chef of The Hand And Flowers in Marlow, will be giving his unique perspective on the kitchen environment when he joins leading catering equipment manufacturer Grande Cuisine at its Stand 2035 in the Excel, London on Tuesday 29th April 2014 between 2 and 3pm.
Tom took over The Hand and Flowers in Marlow in 2005 with his wife Beth, achieving One Star Michelin status in 2006 and raising that to Two Stars in 2012, the first time that a pub has ever done so. The celebrity chef presented his own television series Proper Pub Food in 2013 and his first book of the same name.
Steve Hobbs, MD of Grande Cuisine commented “I am really excited about having Tom Kerridge on the stand, he has been a tremendous supporter of ours. We will also be showcasing our range of products to the wider industry and be part of the UK’s leading equipment exhibition. We have some fabulous products on show, several of which are either new items or additions to existing product lines.”
Steve and his team at Grande Cuisine will be promoting equipment from their key product ranges at the foodservice and hospitality convention show, stand number 2035, that include:
- The complete range of Adventys’ table top ‘plug and play’ style induction hobs along with a new range of 3 phase induction products for larger kitchens and production environments – this will also include the newly featured Three Phase Induction Plancha (8kW) that won Highly Commended in the Hotelympia Induction Awards ;
- A custom built island cook suite from Athanor, being all electric, with a mixture of radiant hobs, ‘Plaque Athanor’ cooking plates (plancha), electric oven and set of hot holding doors, and for the first time a suite incorporating the new range of Adventys 3 phase induction – a suite of products that Tom holds close to his heart;
- Highlights from CAPIC include a salamander grill capable of temperature increase from 0 to 200 degree C in 20 seconds and showcasing the CAPITOP – a multi-function boiling and bratt pan combination with a very small footprint. The stainless steel multipurpose device features a 35 litre boiling pan and a 20 dm² bratt pan, all controlled by a colour touch-screen panel for straightforward and easy to use adjustments, with control of tilting, temperature, time management and water measurement and the display of recipes.
All products are easy to clean, maintain and operate.
